that the birds, peepers, and butterflies are now the

topic of conversation in our daily lessons.  This year

has literally flown and the children now are looking

more like second graders than first graders. 

     We began the year studying about the "Life Cycle of the Butterfly" and we now have the opportunity to observe

the returning butterflies, as they lay their eggs on

the plants all around our town. What a perfect study

for the last few weeks of school.  This study allows the

children to make connections to our original study of butterflies in the fall. 

 

Enjoy taking long nature walks with your child, as they observe the signs of spring and the many changes taking place all around them.
