We continue to work hard and meet success in our academic and social year in grade 3! Our CMT's are done! Your children did a beautiful job each day. They were prepared, ready with materials, and focused throughout the tests--- great stamina! Please continue to keep a check on your child's organization and homework completion as we move into spring and new units. We have begun the study of ROCKS in science and THEME in reading and writing. We are enjoying our visits from parents in our CULTURAL STUDY of COUNTRIES of the world. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Carter and Hannah who brought us the Persian New Year tradition- so festive and meaningful. Mrs. McCleary shared her trip to Italy, so rich in history, art, and language. The children learned their names in Italian, and enjoyed gelato, cookies and cheese. Many thanks to Mrs. McCleary and Kevin. We look forward to our next visit to Spain with Mrs. Sussman.
Keep checking your child's assignment book nightly, and see that they have completed all of the week's spelling- Monday through Thursday. They need to carry through to the end of the week. With your support and mine, your child can grow in responsibility! . LOVE MRS ANRICO
