The 4th Grade Band and  3rd and 4th Grade Orchestras gave a wonderfull performance at the PremierTri-District Concert held at Joel Barlow High School on March 28th. The excitement of our musical success has created great enthusiasm in the Instrumental Music Room as we prepare for our Spring Band concert slated for June 6th  and our 3rd & 4th Grade Orchestra Concert to be held on June 13.

In addition, the RES  Band and 4th Grade Orchestra has been invited to preform on "Music Day" held at Quassey Park in Middlebury on Saturday June 9th.  More information will be sent home after Spring Vacation.

 Learning how to read music notation  is learning to read  a different language and takes practice!

Students should be practicing at least 5 days a week and having their parents initial each week of practice. Students are rewarded with stickers, prizes and feel proud of themselves as they improve musically.
